MIAMI Beach front, Fla. – Two South Florida jewelers were being attacked and robbed within a suite at Miami Beach’s Fontainebleau Lodge.
Franklin Narvaez, 30, faced a Miami-Dade County choose Wednesday after Miami Beach front law enforcement stated he turned himself in pursuing a warrant issued for his arrest for the violent robbery that occurred at the resort on May well 3.
Investigators reported Narvaez was just one of a few suspects who lured the man and woman to the Fontainebleau, posing as prospective consumers intrigued in purchasing jewelry promoted on social media by 1 of the victims.
Immediately after assembly in the lobby, detectives mentioned the victims adopted Narvaez to a hotel space, have been they said the victims have been overwhelmed, tied up and robbed.
In that space, police explained there were being two far more suspects who assisted Narvaez in the alleged crime.
The good thing is, the victims were equipped to no cost themselves and connect with law enforcement, proclaiming the suspects took off with $250,000 worth of jewellery, such as Rolex watches, gold chains and bracelets, and other custom made-produced items.
In court, the community defender disputed all of the allegations towards the suspect.
Navarez continues to be driving bars, held with no bond.
Police are continue to seeking for the other two suspects.
