JetBlue Airways is set to start a significant enlargement to the Caribbean this summer time, Caribbean Journal has learned.
In July, JetBlue will start new routes to locations together with Antigua, Puerto Rico, Cartagena, Haiti, Puerto Plata, Saint Lucia and St Thomas, all out of Newark Liberty International Airport.
That features up to 3 flights for each 7 days to Antigua and Saint Lucia up to 4 flights each individual week to Cartagena, Port-au-Prince and St Thomas, US Virgin Islands up to five flights for each week to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and day by day flights to Cartagena on the Caribbean coastline of Colombia and Aguadilla in Puerto Rico.
The transfer comes soon after JetBlue released the first period of its new alliance with American Airways, one particular that consists of a codeshare arrangement.
“Our alliance with American opens the door for JetBlue to efficiently enter into new markets, introducing extra options and our award-winning support and lower fares to far more prospects,” stated Scott Laurence, head of income and arranging, JetBlue. “The alliance is also critical to finding our planes back again in the air profitably and crewmembers operating all over again.”
All of the new Caribbean flights will start on July 1, 2021.
The new routes will go on sale on Feb. 23, in accordance to JetBlue.
It’s a important signal of self-assurance in the long run of vacation to the Caribbean area, notably for the second and 3rd quarters of 2021.
